Owner: Atlanta Public Schools Architect: Richard & Whittschiebe Architects Square Footage: 75,000 Project Cost: $6,140,000.00 Completion Time: 14 months Description: Appointed by the school board, ABCO acted as Construction Manager for this project. This project was completed in three phases: demolition, renovation, and an extensive addition. The demolition phase included the removal of approximately 1/4 of the building, while the remaining structure was totally renovated in phase two. Phase three produced the addition of 24 new classrooms, a gymnasium/auditorium wing, and a kitchen wing. This intricate project came both on-time and within budget.
